AUC Cell Assembly Torque Stand

Spin Analytical’s torque stand combines the strengths of older style stands, resulting in a superior tool. This torque stand design has a flat bottom 5C collet, which grips the cell and prevents it from slipping out of the holder during cell assembly. Additionally, a key manufactured from O1 tool steel is embeeded in the bottom of the collet to prevent the housing from rotating at the highest torque settings.

AUC Cell Alignment Tools

The Spin CAT tool is used to align cells in standard 4- or 8-hole rotors used with the Beckman XL-A/XL-I analytical ultracentrifuge. The tool replaces the align by eye method of aligning cells and is guaranteed to reproducibly align the cell to 0.1 degree when used with Spin Analytical cell housings.

The cell component press is a tool for safely ejecting the parts of an AUC cell, from the cell housing. In some cases, cell components can become stuck in the cell housing and can be extremely difficult to remove. The cell component press can be used to remove these stuck components.
